Physician's Procedure Templates

As doctors move toward adopting electronic medical records, they're looking for ways to control and automate the collection of patient data. Merkel Marketing helped a local physician streamline workflow, reduce backlog and lower overhead costs by upgrading the procedure templates used in his office. The system uses electronic forms with a variety of pre-determined fields and checkboxes that can be filled out and added to the patient's medical file. The physician dictates procedure details so administrative assistants can enter data.

The legacy system was plagued with errors and omissions, and needed to be updated. The templates are run on PHP and are stored in a MySQL database. Their use has helped prevent data entry errors and provide secure, centralized storage while saving the office time & money.
